INÈDIT offers specialized education and training services to companies and administrations, aimed at overcoming the barriers associated with the environmental improvement of products, processes and services. The goals to be achieved are:
- To make the company familiar with the methodology of ecodesign.
- To integrate environmental protection as a strategic necessity.
- To improve interdisciplinariety in product design.
- To assess the environmental impacts associated with the life cycle of products.
- To introduce basic notions regarding environmental assessment tools applied to ecodesign.
In addition, INÈDIT offers its clients a consultancy service and training for environmental certification. In this way, the improvements in a product, process or service may be certified by official ecolabelling or certification schemes (for example, the European Ecolabel, the PAS 2050:2008 carbon footprint certification or the ecodesign standard UNE 150.301); and communicated by means of Environmental Product Declarations (EPD).
